The Resource Conservation Composite Index was created as a composite yardstick designed to track the dynamic and evolving market trends of green, eco environmental derivatives that represent the Resource Conservation industry.
The Index consists of a weighted basket of 8 benchmark grades from the Organics Recovery sector, 9 benchmark grades from the Waste to Energy sector and 9 benchmark grades from the Resource Recovery sector.
The Index includes snapshots of 5 viewpoints of market trends:
the past 7 days, past 30 days, past 90 days, past 1 year and past 2 years. The Resource Conservation Composite Index launched January 1, 2011 and no market trend data is available prior to that date.
The Composite Index is updated daily before noon EST and tracks 7 days per week.
Transaction activity on the weekends is typically
lighter; it is not uncommon to see no change reflected in the Index during this time period.
The Composite Index is derived from current spot market prices
originating from the
Green Recycling Exchange (GRX). This source of data is
proprietary in nature and may not reflect external markets trends.
